Miralon yarn products are pure carbon nanotube (CNT) fibers that can be used in a variety of applications to lightweight and provide enhanced mechanical and electrical performance. The fiber is manufactured via chemical vapor deposition into uncondensed tow that can be spun into the final fiber, plied together to make longer lengths, or stretched to enhance electrical and mechanical properties.
Miralon Dispersed Products are carbon nanotube additives that can be integrated into various resin and epoxy systems to enhance material properties. Manufactured via chemical vapor deposition and dispersion processes, the resulting fibers are porous bundles of CNTs approximately 0.05mm in diameter and 1mm in length. Miralon dispersed products have been proven to enhance thermoplastic and thermoset resins, polymer fiber reinforced composites, coatings, and adhesives.
