Paul Hallee

Paul is an experienced, entrepreneurially oriented senior financial executive who has worked in large and small companies, across multiple markets and industries.  He has a significant track record of helping companies grow their business and finding the necessary capital for that growth.

He began his career at Gould Electronics (Modicon), an industrial controls company, where he filled various roles in finance and operations culminating in him becoming the Controller for the domestic sales, marketing, and services organization.  After 10 years he left to join a smaller, more entrepreneurial company, WSI Corporation, providing meteorological data services to a range of commercial and government clients as their Chief Financial Officer.  During his time there he helped them achieve profitability while growing the business 500% over 10 years.

He was then recruited into several start-ups and helped achieve several successful exits.  Most notable was FutureTense, an enterprise software company, who was acquired by Open Market, and Sandburst, a fabless semiconductor company, who was acquired by Broadcom.  In both transactions, Paul played a pivotal role in the negotiation of the deal and due diligence and integration of the processes and teams after closing the transactions.

More recently Paul was Chief Financial Officer at VBrick Systems, a maker of network appliances for IP video and software platforms for managing enterprise video assets.  Paul was part of a new management team that achieved profitability while growing the business by 50+%.  Most recently Paul was CFO at Sand 9, a fabless semiconductor company.  Paul played a central role in closing Sand 9’s largest round of equity funding from several strategic investors and then negotiating the eventual sale of the company to one of those investors.

Paul graduated from Bentley University with a BS in Accounting and also has an MBA from Babson College.
